Our Story

Hayley Emma Studio is based in the Surrey Hills. Exercising slow made traditional handwoven practices on a Countermarch Floor loom. They create one off, bespoke, handwoven pieces. Using naturally dyed yarn or locally sourced surplus rug yarn.


  • Founder

    Hayley Emma, founder of Hayley Emma Studio. Studied Textiles for Fashion and Interiors at UCA, before going on to complete a Masters at UAL specialising in natural dyes and sustainability within the textile industry. Upon graduation she went to work as a woven designer across interiors and fashion for a company in London. Since then, she has built a growing independent business creating handwoven textiles.

“I have always worked best with visual medium, the idea of expressing myself through fabric and design is where I find my true voice.”

Sustainability is a passion for Hayley Emma, and a forefront while creating. Later this year she will be launching her own range of naturally dyed yarns, which will feature in the collection for Spring/Summer 27.
